We are involved in the European Cultural Heritage in Action project

The Adopt a Monument is involved in the Cultural Heritage in Action project. During the spring will be organized online peer learning events, for which it is possible to apply for participation by February 8th.

Pirkanmaa Regional Museum will organize its own event on May 10-12, 2021. It presents the Adopt a monument activities as well as explores how the activities could be extended to the whole of Europe and what sites are suitable for volunteers.

In addition to Tampere, online peer learning meetings will be held during the spring in Vantaa, Scotland, the Netherlands, Italy and Belgium. They discuss e.g. re-use of the built cultural heritage, inclusive governance and quality cultural heritage activities in the EU. Experts, decision-makers and stakeholders from across the Europe will be invited to the events. The application for all peer learning meetings is now open and ends on February 8th.
